As someone who’s getting married this fall, I have been spending a fair amount of time recently building my registry. It is … overwhelming. There are hundreds of items to choose from, including many I’ve never seen before (like this over-the-sink colander). Even just looking at cookware makes my head spin a little.

So, I decided to tap an expert to help me narrow down my options. Jennifer Lucas is the senior sales and marketing director of Groupe SEB, which owns the chef-loved cookware brand All-Clad. I sat down with her to discuss the top five All-Clad items couples add to their registry (based on data from Crate & Barrel between 2024-2025) and why they make such good gifts for newlyweds. Honestly? I’m ready to add nearly all of them to my list.

D3 Stainless Everyday 10-Piece Pots and Pans Cookware Set at All-Clad

1. All-Clad D3 Stainless Everyday 10-Piece Pots and Pans Cookware Set

This stainless steel cookware set is the top All-Clad item couples add to their registries, and for good reason. “It’s like the perfect assortment of things that you need to make easy, or the most advanced, recipes,” Jennifer says. It comes with 1.5-quart and 3-quart saucepans, a 6-quart stockpot, and a 3-quart sauté pan — all with lids — along with 8.5-inch and 10.5-inch skillets. And no matter what stovetop you’ve got, this set works with them all.

Large Stainless Steel Roaster with Rack at All-Clad

2. All-Clad Large Stainless Steel Roaster with Rack

“I always find that a great registry gift is a roaster,” Jennifer says, and as it turns out this Large Stainless Steel Roaster with Rack is the second most popular All-Clad item that couples add to their registries. It’s 16×13 inches, which makes it great for roasting a midsize turkey or a prime rib roast. Plus, the roaster can handle ovens as hot as 600°F (the rack can go in the oven, too, as long as it’s 375°F or less).

This roaster is particularly good to add to your registry if you’re planning to start hosting — especially for the holidays. “You might break it out like three times a year or two times a year, but it doesn’t matter. You got to have a roaster,” she says, noting “it’s that wow piece in the middle of the table.” Another aspect that wows me? It can go right into the dishwasher at the end of the meal. Yay for easy cleanup!

D3 Stainless Everyday Fry Pan Set at All-Clad

3. All-Clad D3 Stainless Everyday Fry Pan Set

And, as Jennifer notes, this set is a more approachable price point than bigger sets: “Sometimes there’s a bit of guilt along the lines of, ‘Am I going to register for a cookware set that’s $800?’ The fry pan set is a great value, and I think it makes it a very nice addition to any registry that one person can buy.” Not to mention, it’s also currently on sale.

D3 Stainless Everyday 3-Quart Sauté Pan at All-Clad

4. All-Clad D3 Stainless 3-Quart Sauté Pan with Lid

Once you start using this pan, you’ll truly want to cook with it every day. “If there’s one all-in-one pan that you need to have, a sauté pan is it. You can do all your one-pot meals, and it’s perfect for searing and sautéing.” Plus, “the oil in your pan is not going to get all over your stovetop,” Jennifer says. Onto my registry, it goes!

Pro-Release Nonstick Bakeware 10-Piece Set at All-Clad

5. All-Clad Pro-Release 10-Piece Nonstick Bakeware Set

As a home cook and baker, I live by my bakeware. There is rarely a day that goes by where I’m not reaching for a sheet pan at the very least. So the fact that this 10-piece set has three different sizes is my literal dream. That includes a cookie sheet, a half-sheet pan that also comes with a cooling rack, and a quarter-sheet pan. Not to mention, it also comes with a 12-cup muffin tin, loaf pan, two round cake pans, and two baking pans (a square one and a rectangular one). The entire set is dishwasher safe and can handle temperatures as hot as 450°F.

Truthfully, I’ve never had a sheet pan that didn’t warp (the sound makes me jump every time), but Jennifer assures me the “very thick material is never going to warp.” All-Clad’s bakeware “is best known for durability,” she says, which is exactly what I need, given I use bakeware nearly every day. I can totally see why this set is one of the top items couples add to their registry from All-Clad (and honestly, I’m about to be one of them!).
