What You Should Know About Churn x Fishwife’s Anchovy & Lemon Butter
It’s made from just six ingredients: Churn’s butter, extra virgin olive oil, Fishwife’s Cantabrian anchovies, lemon juice, sherry vinegar, and sea salt. The compound butter is available in packs of two 3-ounce tubs on Fishwife’s site for $26. Or, if you just want one to start, you can grab a single tub from Churn’s website for $13.
Now, I know what you might be thinking: Sounds delicious, but what do I actually use it on? So. Many. Dishes. Yes, you can absolutely butter toast with it if you want the punch of salty anchovies and zippy lemon, but it would also be exceptional stirred into pasta, drizzled on top of a white pizza, mixed with charred broccoli and crispy roasted potatoes, slathered on bread for an amped-up BLT, and so much more. The world is really your oyster (er, anchovy) here.
