If there’s one grocery store brand that is most closely associated with delicious bake-at-home breads and pastries, it’s Pillsbury. From fan-favorite crescent rolls to flaky, buttery biscuits, to cookies and cinnamon rolls, Pillsbury’s assortment of refrigerated doughs certainly has something for everyone.

With so many products lining grocery store refrigerator shelves, it’s hard to imagine there’s anything left for Pillsbury to whip up, but the brand has somehow done it again. Pillsbury just quietly debuted two new flaky pastries that are bound to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Spotted on the shelves of Hy-Vee’s refrigerated section, Pillsbury’s Caramel and Chocolate Flaky Rolls are a fun and exciting twist on the classic Pillsbury roll. While they might seem like new flavors of traditional Pillsbury products, they’re not — they are a totally new treat all their own.

The texture is unlike any of Pillsbury’s other rolls, as are the flavors. They’re flaky and buttery instead of the soft rolls we’ve all come to know and love. They’re light and airy, with a pull-apart style texture. The Flaky Caramel Rolls are topped with a caramel drizzle, while the Flaky Chocolate Rolls have a creamy chocolate center with layers of chocolate chips throughout, then topped with a rich, chocolate icing. If reading this is making you crave a Pillsbury roll, don’t worry — you can still order the classic cinnamon roll flavor online.

“Those look delicious 😋,” wrote one commenter about the new flavors. “I can’t wait to try them,” said another. “For the caramel one, I would add some caramelized apples in there,” wrote a third, very creative commenter. That is one recipe that is absolutely worth trying!

Even though both varieties have been spotted at select locations, they won’t see a nationwide rollout until August. So, while you may not be able to track them down at your nearest grocery store right away, they’ll be in your local grocer’s refrigerated section very soon.
