There is rarely a day that goes by when I’m not drinking at least one iced coffee. Usually I use my compact espresso machine to pull a double shot over ice (I add my favorite syrup and a splash or two of milk). As much as I love the ritual of making espresso in the morning, it’s not the quickest way to make coffee.
That’s where QHH’s Mason Jar Cold Brew Coffee Maker comes in. With this adorable vessel, I can make a big enough batch of cold brew to cover my fiancé and I for days. Oh, and did I mention it’s currently on sale for just $20?

What You Should Know About the QHH Mason Jar Cold Brew Maker
This cold brew maker is my answer to fast-moving weekday mornings. It has a 64-ounce capacity, which makes six cups — enough for my fiancé and I to split three glasses each.
Brewing the cold brew couldn’t be simpler: Pack the stainless steel filter with coarsely ground coffee (I filled it about two-thirds of the way), place it in the Mason jar, and fill the jar with water (aka to the 1,500-milliliter marker). I screw the lid on, and then put it in the fridge to steep for 24 hours.
The instructions say you can steep it for 12 hours on the counter if preferred, though putting it the fridge can help tone down the bitterness of the coffee — that’s why I choose the fridge. Plus, the entire jar — filter, and all — is dishwasher-safe, so cleaning it in between uses is a breeze.
I’m not the only one intrigued by this cold brew maker either; shoppers have purchased more than 10,000 in the last month.

My Honest Review of the QHH Mason Jar Cold Brew Maker
I have tried a few cold brew makers in the past, and this one is by far my favorite. Unlike the curved makers I’ve used before, this container fits much more easily in my fridge without bumping into other items. Plus, the lid makes it easy to pour my coffee without it spilling.
To make my cold brew, I used medium roast coffee grounds. After letting it steep in the fridge for a day, it came out so smooth, I could’ve drank it black, which I rarely ever do. Since I opened this cold brew maker, I’ve been using it every morning. Making my coffee is truly so easy now and takes next to no time.
Just remember to remove the filter before pouring your cold brew. My first use, I forgot to take the filter out, so I ended up pouring grounds into my cup. That was my early morning brain in full effect. I haven’t done it since, and now my cold brew is on par with those of my favorite coffee shops — but for a fraction of the price (it’s saving my $14 a week!).
