A kitchen filled with natural light, green plants, stainless steel appliances, and white cabinetry.

A lazy Susan, as I’ve learned, is an organizing powerhouse that can be used far beyond the kitchen. It’s great for holding cleaning supplies under a bathroom sink, or even office and craft supplies in another room. The rotating tray comes in all styles and sizes, but up until now I’ve never seen one quite like this one from OXO. The 16-inch turntable (aptly named the “Not So Lazy Susan”) is by far the largest lazy Susan I’ve ever seen. I got my hands on it, and it might just be my favorite one yet.

What Is the OXO 16″ Not So Lazy Susan Turntable?

The OXO 16″ Not So Lazy Susan Turntable is a large-sized turntable with a wide base design that provides easy access to hard-to-reach items. It measures 16″ x 16″ x 1.5” with actual 14 inches of usable space, as it has a lifted ledge design to ensure nothing falls or spills over. It’s perfect to use on countertops or inside cabinets.

What I Love About the OXO 16″ Not So Lazy Susan Turntable?

When I initially got the OXO 16″ Not So Lazy Susan Turntable I did think it might be a little too big, but I’m glad I looked past that quickly. My pantry cabinet is quite deep so I’d often forget about items in the far back, or shorter items would get lost behind larger ones. I decided to put the turntable here, so I cleared out the bottom shelf of my top pantry cabinet. Once I put the OXO 16″ Not So Lazy Susan Turntable in there, I could see its storage potential.

I was able to fit so many pantry goods that were previously separated into other storage bins or kept on a separate shelf — everything from sauces and cans to curry powders and soup bases. I love that I can store so much on the wide turntable — there’s a lot of room! — but I also feel like I can access everything by simply turning it. What’s more, it feels so much more spacious, which was a total surprise. I was able to fit another long bin next to it and two short ones in front of it, and it still doesn’t feel overcrowded and the turntable still moves seamlessly.

When looking at the reviews on site, I’m glad I’m not alone in how much I adore this turntable. “We love it! Heavy things don’t slow it down and there’s a lip that makes it easy to stop. Works really well and would help organize just about anywhere,” shares one reviewer, while another called it the “perfect solution.” Others offered more ideas on where to use it, like in the fridge or even on the kitchen table to hold condiments, so I might just follow suit next.
