For years, I have loved my Keurig K-Elite for my morning coffee. Recently, my in-laws got a Nespresso machine, and it has made me seriously consider grabbing one for my kitchen, too. I routinely go back and forth on whether it would make sense to have two capsule machines on my counter, which is why I’ve held off.
And you know what? It’s a good thing I did, because Thyme & Table has come through with a new appliance that might just solve my problem. The Multi-Capsule Coffee Machine accommodates pods from both brands, so now I can upgrade to one stylish machine.
What You Should Know About Thyme & Table’s Multi-Capsule Coffee Machine
The compact coffee and espresso maker is similar in size to Nespresso’s space-conscious Vertuo Pop+. It allows you to choose between six, eight, 10, 12, and 14 ounces for coffee drinks and single, double, or Lungo for your espresso. Plus, it has a 1.5-quart water tank, which is enough to make eight small cups of coffee, and is easy to remove for refills.
It’s available in three colors: navy blue, creamy white, and sleek black. The white and black versions are $119, while the navy is slightly cheaper, at $109. All are significantly less than what you’d pay for separate coffee and espresso machines, which can be more than $100 each, even when they’re on sale.
The one perk that intrigued me immediately? You can use both Nespresso capsules and Keurig K-Cup pods, as well as Thyme & Table’s own capsules. As someone who loves their Keurig machine and has also longed for a Nespresso maker, this is the “best of both worlds,” as a couple of reviewers put it.
