Many chocolate bar aficionados are rejoicing this week. After a 20 year-long wait, Crunch has finally brought back a fan favorite that has people ready to race to the grocery store and buy two at a time. And the taste is almost as sweet as the nostalgia.

Crunch White is back, much to the delight of white chocolate lovers everywhere. The candy bar is a supersweet take on the classic milk chocolate Crunch bar that’s been on grocery store shelves without interruption for many years. Though Crunch White was once a popular alternative to the original, it was discontinued, leaving many disappointed for two decades. But not anymore.

Made from white chocolate and crispy puffed rice, the Crunch White bar comes in the same little break-apart style as the original. Surprisingly, the Crunch White version has less sugar in it even though it tastes like there might be more.

“I’ve been waiting 20 years for this. When I see it I’m stocking up,” shared one commenter. “A friend from elementary school, her family bought these by the box from Costco and kept them in the freezer. It was the best treat EVER. I can’t wait to try these again after so many years,” said another. “It’s the only candy bar I can eat as an adult. I love the crisp rice. When I’m at the movies, I put the Buncha Cruncha in my popcorn,” shared a third Crunch fan.

At the moment, there’s no official word as to whether or not Crunch White is available for a limited time only or if it’s here to stay. Crunch White is making its debut just in time for Halloween, so if you’re among the many patiently awaiting its return, you’ll want to stock up as soon as you can, just in case it disappears after the holiday is over.
