It seems like the price of everything nowadays is on the rise. And customers are feeling the impact once they get to checkout counters. As grocery prices increase, you might be looking for ways to save money and stretch your dollar as much as possible wherever you can.

The major summer savings began on June 27 and will continue through Labor Day, where roughly 40 percent of products across select departments will be available at lower prices. This includes groceries, health and beauty products, as well as name-brand cleaning supplies. Plus, the store has everything you need to throw the ultimate summer bash, including gorgeous tumblers, plates, silverware, and festive decor.

For a sweeter deal, you can also combine the summer savings with additional coupons and promotions on Dollar General’s app. (Coupons include an additional $5 off any purchase of $25 or more and 30% off back-to-school deals for teachers.) Dollar General is also hosting a “7 Days of Savings” event from July 6 to 12, with up to 50% off a new item each day (such as $5 DiGiorno Rising Crust Pizza).

These savings couldn’t come at a better time and build upon the store’s already low prices. In fact, Dollar General recently reduced prices on nearly 200 items, so these additional cuts will further help families navigate rising costs. The store claims that shoppers can save up to $300 to $500 each week using the combination of discounts, promos, and coupons.

“Customers from all walks of life seek ways to save on items they need and want, and DG is here for what matters, helping them stretch their budgets,” Dollar General’s Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer, Emily Taylor, said in a statement. “With kids home from school, there’s often additional meal prep and a desire for additional activities. Our discount offers are designed to enhance affordability on the items our customers need and want.”

So whether you’re hosting a backyard barbecue or simply restocking the weekly essentials, Dollar General’s got you covered all summer long.
