Just last year, I had never owned my own butter dish. Now I’m starting to collect adorable, unique ones (like this gorgeous honeycomb one from Williams Sonoma). I just added a new one to my collection — and it might be my favorite one yet.

What You Should Know About the Mamalucky Strawberry Butter Dish
Mamalucky is a kitchen accessories brand that specializes in ceramic and glass butter dishes, as well as bamboo lazy Susans and wooden napkin holders. Many of the brand’s butter dishes are classic and elegant, so the strawberry butter dish offers a unique pop of color to its lineup.
I fell head over heels for it as soon as I saw it. It has a grassy green base and a lid that looks like a juicy, red strawberry — seeds and stem included. The design is simple (it truly looks just like a strawberry in butter-dish form!) but it’s so detailed, which makes it stunning in person.
This dishwasher-safe butter dish is 3.74 inches wide and a little over 7.5 inches long. It comfortably stores a standard 8-tablespoon stick of butter. (European- and Irish-style blocks like Kerrygold are a bit too wide for the lid to cover.) It’s currently on sale for $21 at Amazon. There’s also a more muted pink strawberry dish, which kind of reminds me of pineberries and costs one dollar more.
My Honest Review of the Mamalucky Strawberry Butter Dish
When the Strawberry Butter Dish first arrived in the mail, I was immediately impressed. This butter dish was packaged into a foam mold that held it tightly and securely in place — no damage in sight. As someone who has had two butter dishes arrive shattered, I really appreciated the thoughtfulness of this packaging.
What I can’t get over, though, is how stinkin’ cute this butter dish is! The lid is textured, so you can feel the little seeds like you would on an actual strawberry. Plus, compared to more demure or even rustic butter dishes, this one truly stands out for how playful and colorful it is.
I’ve been storing it in my fridge so far, and I can’t wait to break it out for summer get-togethers. Imagine the oohs and aahs after revealing a stick of homemade strawberry honey butter under that lid. Priceless.
