Few things in life are more satisfying than a hot, crispy, perfectly salted french fry. Just wander down the freezer aisle at your local grocery store and you’ll find bags and bags of sliced spuds that have been flash-frozen for our ease and enjoyment.

What’s So Great About Grown in Idaho Hand Cut Style Fries?

Our group of testers couldn’t stop raving about the Grown in Idaho Hand Cut Style Fries. They have a gorgeous “golden-brown color,” wrote Mara, our director of groceries and shopping, but what’s on the inside is what truly won us over. Every fry was “perfectly salted and wonderfully crispy with a smooth, creamy filling,” added Ali, our associate groceries editor.

When we say Grown in Idaho Hand Cut-Style Fries are the best frozen french fries you can buy, we mean it. In fact, Maria, our associate art director and a major french-fry fan, wrote that they had the “ideal crunchy exterior with a soft inside,” which made them “absolutely delicious.”

In the end, we shouldn’t have been all that surprised that Grown in Idaho upset the previous winner. It’s Super Crispy Shoestring Fries also clenched the runner-up position. The “classic” taste and flavor “rivaled the ones from McDonald’s,” according to Sarah, our home projects editor.
