M&M’s New Hard-to-Get Flavor Tastes JUST Like My “All-Time Favorite” Cookie (If You Spot Them, Grab 2!)

Not to be outdone, another legendary chocolate brand came out with its own cookie-packed candy. I love cookies and cream and I love M&M’s, so all my attention is currently fixated on the new M&M’s Cookies and Creme candies. Could it be the collab of the summer?! I stepped into the office and tore open the sky-blue bag to find out.

Bags of M&M’s Cookies and Creme hit stores earlier this month, and feature a dark chocolate shell filled with creamy white chocolate. They’re a limited-edition flavor, and are available exclusively at Albertson-owned grocery stores (including Albertsons, ACME, Safeway, Vons, and more) in two-ounce pouches for $2.99 or less. Prices vary across retailers, and in some spots — like Albertsons — they are currently on sale for $1.99.

If you don’t live near one of those store locations, don’t fret. You can also buy the new flavors in bulk packs of 12 for $29.99 at M&M’s website. 

The TL;DR is that if you don’t live near an Albertson-owned grocery store, then you should look at moving, because these M&M’s are that GOOD. Okay, kidding! But truthfully, they are cookies and cream, in M&M form! There are no cookie pieces (which I think would make them perfect) but the crunch from the shell emulates it enough. They’re wonderful!

I have always liked bars of dark chocolate more than milk chocolate, and the slight earthy bitterness really complements the creamy sweet interior for a stellar bite. The creme filling is wonderfully smooth (and has a hint of vanilla) that just works with the crunchy dark chocolate shell. I hope that M&M’s makes these a permanent flavor or, at the very least, expands to retailers nationwide.
