As much as I love summer, I live for the drop in temperature so I can turn my oven back on and get into fall baking. Cozy spices, golden crusts, and butter smeared onto everything — it’s just so dreamy. I’m someone who will happily spend the afternoon by the stove mixing cake batter and making chocolate ganache for an epic cake, so when I say that a pre-made baked good is worth it, that means that it’s really, really good.

What You Should Know About Wildgrain Subscription Service
Wildgrain is a bake-from-frozen subscription service that offers a variety of freshly made breads, pastas, and pastries from small bake shops across the country, including several gluten-free options. All items come par-baked and frozen, and go directly from freezer to oven — no thawing needed.
The monthly subscription service starts at $69 per box with free shipping. You can skip, pause, or increase the shipment frequency whenever you want, and even customize your order to include four to 12 items that range from traditional baked goods, vegan, and gluten-free. Plus, if you get the box with six or more items, you’ll get free buttery croissants in every box (they are magnificent).
Wildgrain will also occasionally add new products to the menu, like these wildly popular frozen pizzas, and limited-edition items depending on the season. The latest includes a who’s-who of fall flavors: Apple Cider Donuts, Pumpkin Cinnamon Biscuits, Maple Belgian Waffles, Pumpkin Spice English Muffins, Butternut Squash & Cheese Ravioli, a Sourdough Harvest Loaf, and Truffle & Parmigiano Reggiano Ravioli. There isn’t a “fall box” you can order (although I’d petition for that in the future), but you can easily add them to the variety box of your choosing, along with those Giant Chocolate Chip Cookies.

My Honest Review of Wildgrain’s Fall Offerings
I’ve tried several Wildgrain products over the past year, but the seasonal items this fall? Easily my favorite yet. In fact, I’d probably reorder just to get the Apple Cider Donuts.
Once they arrived, I put them in the oven for the recommended eight minutes and my kitchen flooded with dreamy smells of cinnamon and sugar. The donut itself was pillow-y soft, and tasted like it just came from an orchard. Seriously, if you love a good apple cider donut, run … don’t walk to Wildgrain’s website.

Everything else I tried filled my heart with cozy fall cheer. The Pumpkin Cinnamon Biscuits made the best breakfast (especially when paired with a cup of warm tea); my roommate begged me to order more of the Butternut Squash & Cheese Ravioli because it was that good (the pasta is soft and tender, and the filling is savory with a bit of sweetness); and I’m currently savoring the last slice of the Sourdough Harvest Loaf for an epic breakfast tomorrow (paired with my lone Maple Belgian Waffle that tastes more like dessert than breakfast — just add a scoop of vanilla ice cream).
