Ask me about my favorite candies and cookies, and Reese’s Cups and Oreos are easily at the top of the list. I love classic Oreos and Reese’s peanut butter cups and have tried many of the limited-edition flavors both brands have released over the years. But when I heard that the two brands are collaborating on not one, but two new delicious treats, I stopped in my tracks.

Introducing the Oreo Reese’s Cookie and the Reese’s Oreo Cup. Despite being owned by separate companies, (Oreo is owned by Mondelez while Reese’s is owned by Hershey), the two have joined forces to give fans what they want after begging for the mashup to return — literally. “We’ve seen the comments and DMs,” Hershey released in a statement. And fans have been asking for good reason. Both treats are delicious on their own, but combined? A match made in heaven.

For the first new iteration, the Oreo Reese’s Cookies take Oreo’s signature chocolate cookies and sandwich them with a Reese’s peanut butter creme mixed with Oreo cookie crumbs. It’s based on a cookie that first launched in 2014 featuring a Reese’s peanut butter filling, but gets an upgrade with the addition of the cookie crumbs. The cookies will start out as a limited-edition product, rolling out on grocery store shelves nationwide in September and will be available until supplies last. However, they are set to become a permanent flavor in January 2026. In the meantime, if you can’t wait to get your hands on some, you can order them for presale starting August 18. For the candy version, the Reese’s Oreo Cup is layered with classic milk chocolate on the bottom half and white creme on the top half to make up the outer shell. Inside is Reese’s classic peanut butter studded with Oreo cookie crumbs. Unlike the cookies, the cups are a permanent addition to the lineup straight off the bat and are available in standard, king, and miniature size cups. They will officially hit shelves in September and similarly will be available for pre-sale online starting August 18.

“This collaboration redefines what it means to be a snacking leader by tapping into exactly what our fans are asking for,” said Michelle Deignan, Vice President of Oreo U.S. “What better way to show our fans we listen to their evolving snacking needs than to partner with the Reese’s brand to deliver the collab of their dreams.” People (including me) couldn’t be more thrilled. “Oooh I need these like yesterday!!!” one commenter said on Instagram. Same — but until then, I’ll keep my eyes peeled this September.
