We already tried (and adored) the new Oreo Reese’s Cookies (which feature a Reese’s peanut butter filling sandwiched between two chocolate cookies), but the brands have also released new limited-edition Reese’s Oreo Cups that’ll hit shelves early September. I got a first try — here’s my full review. (Spoiler alert: You’re going to want to try it ASAP.)

What You Should Know About Reese’s Oreo Cups
While the new Oreo Reese’s Cookies are expected to be part of the brand’s permanent line-up, the Reese’s Oreo Cups (the names can be a bit confusing) are limited-edition. They feature layers of Reese’s peanut butter with Oreo cookie crumbles encased in a milk chocolate base and white cream on top. The cups will be available in King Size, Standard Size, and Miniature Cups.

While the internet has been buzzing over this release, shoppers have to wait a bit longer to try them for themselves (but they are worth the wait!). The cups officially hit shelves nationwide in September and will be available for pre-sale online starting August 18.
My Honest Review of Reese’s Oreo Cups
The Reese’s Oreo Cups are a culinary feat. They’re a joy to look at — with layers of peanut butter, chocolate, white cream, and Oreo crumbs — and they taste even better. It’s all the best parts of a Reese’s (that classic chocolate-peanut butter goodness) combined with the satisfying chocolate crunch of an Oreo.

Naturally I wanted to share the wealth, so I put them out in the office for my coworkers to try. Mara, our director of groceries and shopping, took one bite and immediately said, “Wow, this is fun!” She added that it has an excellent “peanut butter-to-chocolate ratio” (I agree) and said that she would gladly eat the rest of the bag.
Our Culinary Producer Rachel felt similarly, and raved that the “peanut butter is plentiful and the crunch from the Oreo is just divine.” A few other coworkers swarmed around the cups, and we collectively agreed that this is Reese’s best collaboration in a long, long time.
