Starbucks and Stanley have done it again. Two of the biggest names in the beverage game, albeit for very different reasons, have dropped yet another limited edition collaboration.
Anyone who’s visited a Target location recently may have noticed the vibrant, pearlescent green 40-ounce Quencher H2.0 FlowState Tumbler, the result of the enduring partnership between Stanley and Starbucks, that just landed on shelves. Collectors of both Starbucks drinkware and Stanley drinkware have been racing to their nearest store to scoop up this latest drop.
The new cup is vibrant and fresh, and it feels like it was made for summer sipping. “That green color wow!!💚😍” commented one shopper, who was immediately drawn to the bold, cheerful hue. “Omg, my favorite color 💚💚💚,” wrote another.
In the past, Starbucks and Stanley have released limited edition drinkware, but it’s always been available at all participating Starbucks locations. Fans even camped out overnight, waiting in line at their nearest Starbucks store in hopes of bringing home previous collabs.
This time, the launch is exclusive to Target stores. The partnership with Target isn’t a surprising one, given Starbucks’ long history with the big box retailer and the one that Stanley has formed with the store in recent years. Fans were, however, slightly surprised by the $55 price tag.
“Very pricey but it was beautiful! My store had plenty and nobody else was buying any,” wrote one Target shopper. “Want! But $55 😱,” said another.
While there’s no telling how long this limited edition collaboration will stick around, it’s probably a good idea to pick up the latest Stanley tumbler at your nearest Target ASAP, or risk missing out entirely.
