The 3-in-1 Storage Container That’s “Perfect” for Cakes and Appetizers

I am the first to admit that even though I love to bake, I don’t make a ton of time for it. But when a special occasion comes around, it gives me the perfect opportunity to take out my stand mixer and whip up something sweet. As someone who’s already thinking about how to get baked goods from Point A to Point B before I’ve even started a recipe, I keep a sharp eye on portable food containers. So when I spotted the adorable and versatile Ohuhu Cake Carrier, I knew I had to get one for myself. Plus, it’s on sale!

This 3-in-1 cake carrier comes with a double-sided base and 11-count cupcake insert to transport and display cupcakes in style. At 12 by 12 inches and 6 inches high, it’s best for cakes that are 10 inches in diameter with no more than two layers (unless your layers are very thin!). The base flips over to form a five-section serving tray for fruits, vegetables, cookies, candy, and more. 

The carrier is equipped with two handles that can be folded down when not in use, and the base locks onto the cover with the help of three clip locks. One five-star review says, “If your base is not a smooth round sheet, you have it on upside-down! If it’s upside-down the clips do not work and the lid WILL fall off!” That simply means that the lid can’t be fastened when the base is on the serving tray side, so you’ll need to assemble your fruits, nuts, and other appetizers once you get to your destination.
