There’s something about an ice-cold margarita that just screams SUMMER. In fact, we feel pretty strongly about margaritas, which is also coincidentally how we like them. We’ve tried them every which way: the classic marg, Aperol-inspired, and even cowboy-style (spiked with fresh-squeezed orange juice and sliced jalapeños).

What’s So Great About Cutwater Lime Margarita?

When testing 11 different classic margaritas, you might expect at least a few to taste kind of the same. Well, it was quite the opposite. Cutwater’s Lime Margarita stood out as the immediate and unanimous winner. It was so evident that when the testing was complete, everyone wanted their own can to drink.

Let’s get into specifics: our Associate Groceries Editor, Ali, couldn’t stop raving about its “balanced flavor,” when it was served over ice. “It’s sweet, tangy and keeps me coming back for more.” She wasn’t alone in her praise. Another tester declared it “the best margarita [they’ve] ever had,” which is saying something — margaritas are their go-to cocktail. Another was surprised that it wasn’t just made with “freshly squeezed limes.”

The margaritas are sold in four-packs for just under $12. And at 12.5% ABV per can, Cutwater Lime Margaritas aren’t just delicious — they also pack a strong buzz.
