What You Should Know About Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Top Secret Sauce

Released in March 2024, Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Top Secret Sauce is one of 17 sauces in Flavortown’s line, along with Hot Honey BBQ Sauce, Famous Donkey Sauce, and Kickin’ Chipotle Sauce. The so-called “secret sauce” is a creamy aioli that blends tangy yellow mustard and distilled vinegar, rich tomato paste and egg yolk, warm chili powder, and savory dried garlic and onion. In a press release following the award win, Guy Fieri — celebrity chef, restaurant owner, and host of Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives — even called the sauce “a personal favorite of mine.”

My Honest Review of Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Top Secret Sauce

The flavor is just different enough from that beloved fast-food sauce that I wanted to experiment with it beyond chicken, fries, and burgers. So I decided to try it with fish. According to the packaging, it’s “good on everything,” so why not give salmon a try? I made a rice bowl with shredded oven-roasted salmon, avocado, and diced sweet potatoes, and drizzled the Top Secret Sauce over it.

I usually top this bowl with Sriracha and mayo, but this sauce might be the move instead. It hits on that sweet and zesty flavor the Sriracha brings without being as spicy, plus it adds a nice tanginess that pairs well with the rich salmon and avocado. It was so delicious, I actually added more sauce halfway through eating. Honestly, I even considered adding it to my scrambled eggs this morning. So now you know what I’ll be trying next …
