As any peanut butter lover will tell you, not all jars are created equal. There’s a creamy version, a crunchy version, salted vs. unsalted … the list goes on and on. Of course, everyone has their brand preference too, which may very well have something to do with whatever kind was kept in the pantry when you were a kid.

While Jif and Skippy might be the first brands that come to mind, many people who live in the Northeast are partial to Teddie Natural Peanut Butter. For 100 years, Teddie has been a staple in kitchens across the northeastern United States — and now it’s headed to grocery stories all across the country.

The family-owned business is one of the fastest-growing peanut butter companies in the world, and it even ships orders around the globe. What makes Teddie Peanut Butter so special is that the brand was making all-natural peanut butter long before it was ever a trend. Teddie’s product line includes several different types of creamy and smooth peanut butter, including salted, unsalted, organic, creamy, and chunky varieties. Their smooth peanut butter was the runner-up of our latest peanut butter taste test, and their chunky variety took the top spot.

Needless to say, fans of the brand who grew up in the Northeast with jars of Teddie in their pantries are thrilled that people across the country will get to enjoy their favorite peanut butter.

“The only brand I buy! My folks grew up in Chelsea in the 20s-1962. The only peanut butter worthy of Fluff to make a proper Fluffernutter. 🥜🤎” wrote one Facebook user.

“Have been a customer for decades. Two ingredients: peanuts and salt! Absolutely delicious!!” said another. “I used to work at a company adjacent to the Teddie factory. Driving into work first thing in the morning, the aroma of roasting peanuts was amazing! I only buy Teddie and have for years,” added a third.

Keep your eyes peeled for Teddie Peanut Butter, which will be heading to a grocery store near you.
