I’m always on the hunt for holy-grail products that will miraculously change my spaces from disorganized, cluttered messes to ultra-practical superhero spaces. That’s why I was so excited when I had the opportunity to test the Yamazaki Home Tower Two-Tier Pull-Out Shelf under my kitchen sink. Kitchen storage is at a premium in my Brooklyn apartment — and because I’m prone to letting my kitchen cabinets become more than a little unruly, this was the perfect product for me to test.
Features That Stand Out About the Yamazaki Home Tower Two-Tier Pull Out Shelf
The Yamazaki Tower Two-Tier Pull Out Shelf is exactly what it sounds like — it’s a steel, two-tier organizer for any under-sink or low-cabinet space. It’s made of steel and comes in white or black. I tested the white colorway because my cabinets are white, and I thought it would all match better.
A few features really stick out to me: I am very bad at putting things together (read: building furniture), and I was able to do (almost) the whole thing on my own in 20 minutes. I just needed a quick translation (the paper instructions are written in Japanese) and an extra set of hands to match up some holes for screws, and then it was ready to go.

The stand-out feature is, by far, the shelves. No more awkward bending over, crouching, or reaching in the back of your scary, dark under-sink cabinet to find that soap refill or cleaning product. Plus, putting in the shelving unit meant I had to take everything out from under it, and that was an awesome decluttering exercise. The bottom shelf is perfect for tall products like dish soap refills, spray cleaners, laundry detergent, and more that I grab often. I use the top shelf for extra recycling, trash, and compost bags — perfect for my shorter cabinets.
I would definitely get two of these for each side of my sink — I have stuff now on the left side of my sink cabinet like Swiffer pad refills, plant food, and more that’s way less cluttered, but it would be nice to have both shelving units. I’d honestly also love it under my bathroom sink because that’s another nightmare.

Why the Yamazaki Home Tower Two-Tier Pull-Out Shelf Is Great for Under-Sink Storage
- It’s made of steel, which is perfect for any wet under-sink environment.
- The pull-out shelves are perfect for daily-use items and also for preventing stuff from hiding in the back of the cabinet.
- It’s easy to put together — one capable person could do it in about 20 minutes or less.
- The bottom shelf is perfect for tall products; the top shelf is great for flat ones.
- It feels really high-quality, solid, and strong.

Who Should Buy the Yamazaki Home Tower Two-Tier Pull-Out Shelf?
This is perfect for anyone with limited storage space under their sink. While it’s a natural fit for kitchen storage, I think it would also be useful under a larger bathroom sink cabinet (and might be where I put another one) or any cleaning product cabinets that you might have. It could also be useful for kitchen storage for goods like oils and vinegars.
