Trader Joe’s has so many wonderful fall finds to explore. I’m planning my next trip to grab a cart full of fun fall groceries, its iconic (and super affordable) cinnamon broom, and other items that bring all the cozy vibes to my space. I’m also on the hunt for a few fun pieces of Halloween kitchen decor, and luckily, I’ve spotted a few to add to my Trader Joe’s list STAT: these spooky pet-themed planters that run just $5.99 a pop and are selling like hot cakes!
I first caught the Bow Wow and Meow Tillandsia planters in this TikTok from creator Diana. The adorable little black and white dog and cat skeleton planters are perfect for both pet and plant parents. They hold wonderful little air plants atop their heads and have magnetic strips on them, so you can stick them on the fridge for a touch of eerie charm — just in time for Halloween! Trader Joe’s also had a skeleton version last year that people loved, but just the new pet versions are available for now.
Shoppers are obsessed with these seasonal finds, with commenters online saying things like “I need this!!” or “I got one of each yesterday. They make me so happy!” Another said, “Omg! They will be gone as soon as they are out.” And I couldn’t agree more!
I completely understand the hype surrounding these planters — they’re great pieces of living decor that add such a fun, quirky touch to the kitchen. Plus, the plants are (nearly) impossible to kill, so even those of us with black thumbs can enjoy a splash of greenery in peace. Just mist them once in a while, and they’re good to go. Pop them on the fridge, on a metal cabinet, or another metal surface in your kitchen or the rest of your home and watch them instantly brighten up the space!

Heads up: These gems are selling fast and will only be at Trader Joe’s for a limited time, so head to your nearest store to grab them before they’re gone. If you can’t find them, don’t worry — Etsy has other spooky magnetic planters that are perfect for the season, like this adorable smiling ghost! Pop one in your kitchen or on a windowsill around your home to grow succulents, air plants, and herbs in scary good style.
