Christmas is quickly approaching, and you’re likely already deep in planning holiday festivities. Whether its last minute gifts, festive decorations, or all the ingredients necessary to make a delicious Christmas dinner, Walmart’s got you covered.

But if you happen to run out of an ingredient or need to pick up any last minute items on the actual holiday, will you be able to count on Walmart?

Similarly to many other retailers, unfortunately no. All Walmart stores will be closed on Christmas Day as confirmed by a representative. The store has been following this policy for the last few years, giving their staff an opportunity to enjoy the holiday. However, Walmart stores will be open on Christmas Eve until 6 p.m. and will resume normal operating hours the day after Christmas. So you’ll need to plan ahead to ensure you get all your shopping done prior to the big day.

If you don’t already have one, grab one of these gorgeous speckled slow cookers from Ree Drummond’s appliance line while you’re doing your pre-Christmas shop. (There’s plenty of other items to choose from as well like a cute two-slice toaster.) Since you now have a slow cooker, put it to use and make one of Ree’s many slow cooker recipes for those post-holiday eats when you really can’t be bothered to cook and are sick of leftovers.

No meal is complete without dessert, but you don’t need to turn the oven on to make something delicious. Instead, let the fridge do the work with these fuss-free no-bake desserts. Christmas is looking more and more stress-free already.
