I adore Halloween and the spooky season. Just give me pumpkin spice everything, autumn leaves, and snug scarves! So when I noticed boo baskets becoming popular on TikTok, I was compelled to create one for my boo! It’s not too late to whip one up for yours, especially if you reside in an area with quick shipping.
## What are Boo Baskets?
Boo baskets resemble Easter baskets, but with a boo twist. Or rather, they are themed around fall and Halloween. Many people have been dropping hints to their partners to create one for them, and there are some incredibly adorable options available!
## What to Include in a Boo Basket?
Truly, you can include anything! However, here’s my loose “recipe.”
### Basket
You’ll require a sufficiently large basket (or container) to accommodate all your goodies. There are Halloween-themed baskets available, but if you have something at home that you utilize to store blankets or a big bowl, that will suffice as well. Bonus points if your person loves pottery and you find them a large ceramic platter or bowl!
### Cozy Item
It’s not fall unless it’s cozy! Look for something warm and fuzzy that will remind your partner of you when they snuggle up in it, like a super soft blanket, hoodie, sweatshirt, or scarf. It doesn’t necessarily need to be fall or Halloween themed, but that is the theme of the basket, so I suggest going all out and picking seasonal items. When else will your partner receive a hoodie that declares their love for pumpkin spice?
### Mug
Fall is all about hot beverages, and you can’t enjoy them without a mug. There are SO many adorable Halloween mugs out there, and many of them are quite affordable. If your boo isn’t into hot drinks, you might consider getting them a Halloween-themed glass for normal beverages.
### Drinks
A drink mix for the mug. Think pumpkin spice, chai, apple cider, and similar options. Alternatively, if your boo isn’t fond of hot drinks, consider getting a spiced alcohol like cinnamon whiskey or a fall-themed cocktail mixer.
### Treats
This is, in my opinion, the highlight of a boo basket! It’s essentially like you’re going trick-or-treating for your boo. Numerous Halloween and fall-themed treats are available. Visit a Target or stock up online. Be sure to select items your boo enjoys. You do know their favorite snacks, right!?
### Plushie
A cuddly plushie is an ideal addition to a boo basket. For extra points, the trendy plushies at the moment are Jellycats. Squishmallows are out, so steer clear of those. Choose the perfect Jellycat, and your boo will be thrilled.

## How Do I Make Boo Baskets Look Cute?
1. Ensure you get a large enough basket so everything fits inside. Use the cozy item (scarf, hoodie, blanket) to line the basket.
2. Remove any packaging from the outsides: obviously, if you ordered items online, take them out of the box and discard any protective plastic wrap. Don’t cut off any tags though, just in case.
3. Neatly arrange everything in the basket. Larger items should be placed in the back, with smaller items nestled in the front.
