Nachos are one of my all-time favorite dishes. While it’s true that the toppings are important, I’m all about the tortilla chips — and I’ve recently discovered some that have changed my nacho game.
MASA’s Tallow Tortilla Chips are truly in a league of their own. They’re thick, crunchy, and absolutely delicious. They’re so good that I’m ready to buy six more bags.

What You Should Know About MASA’s Hatch Chile Tallow Tortilla Chips
MASA exclusively makes corn tortilla chips. What makes MASA’s chips unique? The fact that they’re fried in beef tallow, which I find gives the chips a richer, deeper flavor. The brand offers seven varieties: Original, Blue, White, Lime, Cobanero, Churro, and Hatch Chile — my favorite.
The Hatch Chile chips are made with just eight ingredients. Beyond corn, Hatch chile, and beef tallow, the chips also contain salt, black pepper, onion, oregano, and purple stripe garlic. They’re available in five-ounce bags in packs of six, 12, or 20, starting at $79. Yes, it’s a little pricey for tortilla chips, but they’re the best I’ve ever had! So, in my opinion, they’re totally worth the splurge.

My Honest Review of MASA’s Hatch Chile Tallow Tortilla Chips
Plus, I love how thick and crisp they are. It makes them a perfect chip for dipping or layering up with toppings because they’re not quick to snap while you’re building your bite. Flavorful, well-salted, and sturdy? Meet my dream tortilla chip.
