Whenever I visit Costco, I can’t leave without exploring the snacks section. It’s like a treasure trove of savory snacks, sweet treats, and on-the-go items like granola bars or jerky. While I love checking for new items, I also find myself returning to the same reliable snacks.
Since having kids, I try to manage my hunger between meals and keep my energy levels consistent throughout the day. I don’t snack as much as I used to, but I still keep my go-tos in my pantry (and fridge). After years of hunting down the best Costco groceries, these are the seven snacks that I would buy again and again — even if they’re not on sale.

1. Kirkland Signature Organic Hummus, $7.89 for 20 cups
This store-bought hummus is simply delicious, and it’s convenient to bring it anywhere — including airports. Served in single-serve cups, it has an ultra-creamy and smooth texture, and a balanced, nutty flavor that’s brightened by lemon juice, garlic, and cumin. Made with organic ingredients, including tahini and dried chickpeas, it contains 4 grams of protein and is perfect for pairing with soft naan or crunchy carrot sticks, or using it as a spread for sandwiches and wraps.

2. Tropical Fields Organic Coconut Rolls, $8.79 for 11 ounces
A bite of these fragile, light, crisp rolls immediately transports me to the tropical islands of Southeast Asia and makes me reminisce about my childhood. Made with organic coconut milk, tapioca flour, coconut sugar, eggs, and black sesame seeds, these rolls surprisingly don’t taste too sweet. They have 4 grams of added sugar (for every cup), so whenever I eat them directly out of the bag, I don’t have rapid blood sugar spikes followed by crashes. I like crushing and sprinkling them over yogurt, ice cream, or oatmeal for added texture.

3. Go Raw Organic Sprouted Pumpkin Seeds, $7.99 for 22 ounces
These green, hull-less pumpkin seeds are not like those typical brands. They are “sprouted,” which means the raw seeds have been soaked in water and allowed to germinate, improving their digestibility and nutritional value. This brand, originally priced at $10.79, seldom goes on sale, but when it does, I buy a few and stock up my pantry with it.
It’s such a nutrient-dense snack that I can eat right out of the bag or add to my cereal, yoghurt, oatmeal, or salads. For a handful of seeds, it’s already offering me 8 grams of protein and a potent boost of magnesium, zinc, copper and manganese.

4. Kirkland Signature Organic Roasted Seaweed, $9.99 for 10 packs
I used to buy seaweed snacks at a nearby grocer and, while I like the variety there, I usually find them in smaller quantities. So when I tried these, I knew I was getting bang for my buck. Each individual tray contains around 32 to 35 smaller, individual sheets that are great for sharing.
Each sheet has two shiny sides, thanks to sunflower and sesame oils listed in the ingredients. With a salty, savory umami flavor and a crisp texture, they are satisfying snacks my kids enjoy, too. I like eating them on their own or scooping up the baked rice and topping when I make sushi bake at home.

5. Jackson’s Avocado Oil Sweet Potato Chips, $6.46
These crunchy, savory sweet potato chips are such a smart creation from Jackson’s founders Megan and Scott Reamer. This dynamic duo elevates the average potato chip by using only the essentials: vibrant non-GMO sweet potatoes, avocado oil, and a final toss of sea salt to make the flavors pop. I like that they are kettle-cooked for extra crunch and made with heirloom spuds chosen for their superior flavor.

6. Surfsnax Salmon Snack Sticks, $9.97 for 12 count
There’s something unique about this sustainable Atlantic salmon jerky. With a savory taste, a firm yet chewy texture and minimal fishy flavor, each stick offers 9 grams of protein, zero added sugar, and omega-3 fatty acids, which is more nutritious compared with meat-filled snacks that are high in sodium content and contain cancer-linked preservatives. I usually keep a few sticks in my purse or in my car to fuel up my body on the go. The company also focuses on sustainable fishing practices, where the salmon comes from hatcheries verified by Best Aquaculture Practices.

7. St Michel Chocolate French Crȇpes, $8.49 for 20 count
I usually lean toward savory flavors, but I’ll always make an exception for a delicate French crepe — especially ones that are produced by a family-owned French bakery established in 1905, bringing traditional French savoir-faire to a packaged product. Made with free-range eggs, French wheat flour, and fresh whole milk, each crepe is crafted with precise thinness and texture, then filled with a smooth chocolate-hazelnut filling. The crepes are individually wrapped, so they can be eaten straight from the pack. Try warming it for 10 seconds in the microwave or having one for dessert topped with sliced bananas, chopped pecans, and whipped cream.
