BBQ Chicken Bacon Ranch Sub

Delicious chicken subs in a flavorful ranch and BBQ sauce served BLT style with bacon, lettuce, and tomato!

Ingredients
  • 1 pound boneless chicken breasts or thighs, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (or olive oil)
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning *
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 hoagies/buns/rolls, halved (can be toasted) (gluten-free for gluten-free)
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing (link)
Instructions
  1. Cook the chicken combined with the mayo and ranch seasoning in a skillet until fully cooked, approximately 8-10 minutes.
  2. Incorporate the BBQ sauce.
  3. Add the cheese, cover, and allow it to melt before removing from heat.
  4. Construct the sandwiches using the BBQ ranch chicken and cheese, buns, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and dressing, then enjoy!

Note: * Utilize store-bought or create your own: 1 teaspoon dried parsley, 1 teaspoon dried dill, 1 teaspoon dried chives, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
